MY TOP 5 KITCHEN GADGETS TO MAKE HEALTHY EATING EASIER AND QUICKER!
Hey! I wanted to share some tips about food prepping. There are a few kitchen appliances I use every single week that make my life easier when prepping dinner, breakfasts, or even just adding more variety to my diet. Cooking and prepping should be quick and easy—that’s the only way we can stick with it!
Here are a few of my favourites:
1. Air Fryer
I use this instead of a microwave to heat up food, or even make toast. It’s also great for making chips, baked veggies, fish, and chicken without needing loads of oil. You get crunchy, delicious meals, and you can just set it and forget it. Plus, it’s super quick and easy to clean! Choose the one with the glass tray if possible.
2. Push-Down Blender
I love this because I can use the same container, pop a lid on, and head out the door. It’s great for smoothies, shakes, soups, sauces, dressings—you name it! Smoothies are one of the easiest ways to get a variety of nutrients. Throw in some greens, fruit, superfoods, nuts, seeds, protein powder, or collagen powder. The options are endless, and you’ve got a meal ready in minutes!
3. Slow Juicer
Raw juicing can be incredibly healing when done right. A good juicer helps pack tons of antioxidants and vitamins into one glass. It’s perfect for increasing your intake of greens, veggies, and fruits you might not eat regularly (like pomegranate, kale, or grapefruit). It’s also great for cleanses and reducing inflammation.
4. Electric Mini Whisk
This gadget is a game-changer for mixing superfoods, vitamin drinks, and powders like protein or collagen. No more clumps in your drinks! The mini whisk blends everything smoothly in seconds, saving you from stirring with a spoon for ages. It makes prepping your morning matcha or protein shake a breeze!
5. Stick Blender
The stick (or immersion) blender is small but versatile. It’s perfect for blending soups right in the pot, making quick smoothies, sauces, dips, dressings, marinades, and even creamy mashed veggies. It’s compact, easy to clean, and I recommend getting one with a metal tip.
Did I forget any must-have gadgets, or are there others I should know about?
